A Receptionist, or Front Desk Receptionist, is responsible for performing clerical tasks within all our office settings to support daily operations. Their duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, sorting and delivering mail to employees and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or sales staff.
They may also be responsible for taking inventory of office supplies and placing orders accordingly. During downtime, Receptionists might complete coffee runs for office staff and retrieve mail from the mailroom. They also participate in office meetings to take notes and draft meeting minutes that participants can refer to later on.

Under general direction, responsible for creating an overall culture of well-being, awareness and engagement of health and wellness. Plans, implements, performs, and monitors a variety of complex duties and strategies related to employee wellness, ergonomics or occupational safety, and health promotion program evaluation. Serves as the champion for employee health and wellness initiatives and incorporates these efforts across all divisions and business units.
• Plans, administers, implements, and monitors the annual comprehensive strategic plan for health and wellness programs and initiatives, while delivering engaging health promotion activities.
• Motivates and engages the employee population in a manner that results in positive health and wellness outcomes. Understands and applies the stages of change for behavior modification programming within the wellness program.
• Provides assistance in employee goal setting, tracking and health improvement strategies to foster an organizational culture of wellness and personal well-being.
• Applies data analysis and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and behavioral changes through increased member engagement.
• Report on program statistics/results to demonstrate program value, continuous improvement, and population health indicator trends.
• Develops annual communication plan of wellness related marketing strategies (e-mails, posters, internal mailings, desk-drops, wellness
website) working with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Coordinates and implements external vendor partnerships supporting Health & Wellness initiatives/programs.
• Drives the annual wellness event calendar of health awareness, improvement and educational programs that include and are not limited to: employee training sessions, campaign events, promotional seminars, and annual on-site Health/Benefits Fairs for the community.
• Remains current on all new health research strategies of health promotion and applies such principles and tools.
• Serves as the organization’s ergonomic specialist and provides guidance/assistance in the development our internal ergonomic policy and procedures.
• Administers the ergonomic evaluation program for injury prevention and injury investigations purposes, working in partnership with workers compensation and health and safety teams.

• A bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or other related field with a minimum of three years related experience; five plus years of experience preferred. Must have demonstrated experience in wellness and health promotion program management. A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential, or equivalent NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) certification is a plus.
• Written strategic plan development for health and wellness programs, strategies, and initiatives.
• Effective adult learning methods and techniques for behavior modification for the purpose of developing and presenting health and wellness related programs/training.
• Ergonomics for occupational safety.
• Industrial and non-industrial principles of health and wellness promotion.
• Computer applications proficiency utilizing desktop software (Office Suite) and database applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access.
• Project management using GANTT charts or other written planning tools.
• Principles and techniques of business communication, including written, verbal and training methods.
• Coordinating and implementing a comprehensive wellness program.
